As a color specialist in Dallas for over 30 years, Cris has developed an extensive repertoire in color techniques. As she welcomes clients to SCENE, her new salon, Cris is eager to share her new endeavor and remains enthusiastic about expanding her clientele. Throughout Cris’ career, she has kept at the top of her game with the latest products. Cris co-founded Muse the salon in 2008 and actively participated in its development throughout her 7-year co-ownership of the salon. During her ownership, the salon was named as one of the Top Ten Hair Salons in Dallas by D Magazine. Ready for new challenges, Cris sold her interest in Muse and returned to focusing her energies on client service and is now building SCENE, in the Dallas Design District.
Martín Lopez has over 20 years of experience as a hair stylist and educator. After working at “Vidal Sassoon” in San Francisco and Hamburg Germany, Martín wanted to expand his craft and took a year long apprenticeship with the late “John Sahag” in New York City. Finally in 2003 Martín landed in Dallas,TX. In a short amount of time, he has become one of Dallas’ most recommend stylist. Martín has been recognized by “InStyle Magazine” for cutting the best “Bob Haircut” in Dallas. Martín also specializes on short precision haircuts and curly hair.
“Hair color has to be beautiful, individually tailored to look natural, and of course, the condition has to be fabulous”, says master colorist Colin Whitlock. With 32 years experience coloring hair, Colin knows what he is talking about, and his loyal following is evidence that he knows what he is doing. Having honed his skills in some of the top salons in Dallas, transferring to Scene, the first designer salon in the Design District, was the opportunity he had been waiting for. “I love the comfortable but professional atmosphere here. The cool decor and art inspire me”, he continues. It shows. Whether he is creating signature blondes, sultry brunettes, or vibrant reds, hair is always a perfect complement to skin tone, and the color gleams. From classic highlights to adventurous color change, nothing pleases Colin more than delighting his customers and making their color dreams come true.
Cut, Color and Barber
Jeanne LeBlanc is a junior stylist who completed her training at Aveda Institute. She then decided to enhance her education and enrolled in barber training at Bladecraft Barber Academy where she subsequently graduated and obtained her barber’s license. Though a young stylist/barber, don’t count her out. Jeanne prides herself on the quality of her education and continually strives to expand her skills. She takes full advantage of all opportunities – both formal and informal – to soak in as much as she can to become the most proficient young stylist possible.

Cut and Color
Maxwell Cline is the newest addition to our team at Scene. He is a DFW original but has also lived in Las Vegas and Minneapolis. In 2016, Maxwell was selected as a National Semi-finalist for Wella’s Trend Vision.
Maxwell graduated from Ogle School with a focus on both cut and colour. Maxwell’s commitment to client service is evident when he says “the best part of my job is connecting with people I never would have outside the salon environment.”
